APNAN organizes 2 types of International Workshop on Kyusei Nature Farming and EM Technology at Saraburi Kyusei Nature Farming Center, Thailand every year.


One is held around every March with a focus on Nature Farming. A key lecturer comes from INFRC, Japan and provides the latest information on such topics as “Method of nurturing soil”, “Weeds are an indicator of paddy field”, and “Pest and disease are a message from nature” with Nature Farming concept.

Next International Workshop with a focus on Nature Farming is scheduled on March 11 to 14, 2019.


The other is held around every September with a focus on basic EM Technology. It covers most EM applications for such fields as environmental treatment, animal husbandry, shrimp cultivation, mushroom cultivation with practice of making EM Activated Solution, Bokashi, mud balls etc.

Next International Workshop with a focus on basic EM Technology is scheduled in September, 2019.

We discontinued the fixed participation fee of 4,500 THB or 150 USD per person to cover such basic costs during the 4-day workshop as accommodation, meals and domestic transportation between the hotel in Bangkok and Saraburi Center via field sites using EM. Please contact us for the new participation fee. We will not be able to provide any other expenses such as transportation fees between the airport and the hotel, international airfare, visa fee and accommodation for extended periods.

APNAN will book the hotel rooms for all participants according to the nomination from our member organizations, based on a twin-sharing with another participant based primarily on the country and gender.

We will NOT bear expenses of the mini-bar, IDD calls, laundry, Internet access fee and other meals.

We will book the dormitory rooms for all participants based on their rooming regulation, which is based primarily on the country, region (2 or 3 countries) and gender over the workshop period. There are no Internet and IDD call facilities at Saraburi Center.

The rooms of the dormitory have Thai style facilities and air conditioning. The washrooms separated on a gender basis with showers are Thai style, Participants need to bring their own toiletries and towels.

Most meals prepared by Saraburi Center are based on Thai cuisine for general people, with some vegetarian dishes. The general meals contain rice, chicken, seafood, eggs, vegetables, milk, fruits, etc. without pork and beef. For vegetarians, it is primarily rice, vegetables, fruits, mushroom etc. Almost all materials for the meals are produced at the farm of the Center as Nature Farming food.

Vegetarians are requested to inform APNAN of their dietary requirements and attempts will be made to accommodate these requests to the best of our ability. It is impossible to prepare strict vegetarian meals alone.

Saraburi Center was established by Sekai Kyusei Kyo Thai Headquarters, which is a foundation of public service with religious activities. They provide almost all necessary facilities for the workshop.

Participants are requested to observe the following prohibited matters in the Center as their regulations.

To smoke in the building

To drink any kind of alcohol

To do things to disturb their prayer
